Privacy Policy - Najdi Hajzl

Najdi Hajzl (“the App”) is a utility application designed to help users find nearby public restroom facilities quickly and easily.

This Privacy Policy explains what information the App may access, how it is used, and how it is protected.

Information We Collect

Location Data

The App may request access to your device location in order to:

  • display nearby public restroom facilities
  • calculate distances
  • improve map functionality
  • provide navigation to selected locations

Location data is used only while the App is in use and is not sold to third parties.

Favorites

The App may allow users to save favorite restroom locations ("Favorites"). Favorites may be stored:

  • locally on the device
  • optionally synchronized with cloud infrastructure to enable backup and synchronization across devices

Favorites do not contain sensitive personal information.

Photos

The App allows users to upload photos of restroom facilities. When you upload a photo, the App:

  • resizes it to a maximum of 1024 pixels on the longer side
  • strips all embedded metadata, including any GPS coordinates recorded by your camera
  • stores the resulting image together with your anonymous user identifier

Photos are public to other users. Please photograph the facility only and never people. You can delete your own photos at any time, and every photo can be reported; reported photos are hidden automatically pending review.

Usage Information

The App may collect limited technical information required for operation and stability, such as:

  • app version
  • device type
  • operating system version
  • crash diagnostics
  • anonymous performance data

This information is used solely to improve the App.

Data Sharing

We do not sell personal data.

The App may use third-party services required for core functionality, including:

  • map services
  • OpenStreetMap geographic data
  • cloud hosting infrastructure
  • analytics and crash reporting tools

Third-party providers may process limited technical information necessary to provide their services.

User Content and Moderation

Photos and comments uploaded by users are visible to everyone. By posting them you agree that you will not upload content that is abusive, harassing, illegal, or otherwise objectionable, and that you will not harass other users.

We have no tolerance for such content. Every uploaded photo is reviewed before it becomes public, and both photos and comments can be reported by anyone. Reported content is hidden automatically once enough reports are received, and is removed if it breaks these rules. Users can also block an author, which hides that author's photos and comments from them; blocked authors can be unblocked in the app settings.

Anyone affected by content in the App - including people who do not use it - can reach us at problem@inb.ee. We aim to act on reports within 24 hours.

Data Storage

Some data may be stored securely on remote servers to support synchronization and reliability features.

Reasonable technical and organizational measures are used to protect stored data.

User Control

Users can:

  • deny location access at any time through device settings
  • deny camera access at any time through device settings
  • remove Favorites from the App
  • delete photos they uploaded, and report photos or comments posted by others
  • block another author so their photos and comments are no longer shown
  • uninstall the App and delete locally stored data

Children's Privacy

The App is not directed toward children under the age required by local law without parental supervision.

Changes to This Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. Continued use of the App after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
